Many of you will only visit Havana once in your lifetime, and our endeavor is to help to make it unforgettable for you for all the right reasons.
In order to achieve this, we request your co-operation in the following:
Registration - All guests should provide their passport to management. Your passport and tourist card details will be registered in our official book.
Your belongings - The hostal's management will not be responsible for any losses or damage of guest's valuables. Guests can use the safety deposit boxes provided in the rooms.
Smoking - smoking is not allowed in any part of the guesthouse except on the balcony at the front of the building.
Departure - Check-out time is 12.00 (noon). A later checkout time may be possible depending on the arrival time of our incoming clients. Please consult reception to request this. Luggage may be stored in our storage room for up to 30 days at a cost of 1cuc per day per item. (On failure of the guest to vacate by checkout time, the management shall have the right to remove the guest and his/her belongings from the room occupied by the guest.)
Keys - Please remember to carry your key with you when you are out of the room. Please make sure your door is locked when you leave your room. Upon checkout, make sure you return the room key.
Visitors - Please identify any visitor with a staff member. For your own safety, we do not allow Cuban visitors in the rooms without prior approval. You are welcome to receive Cuban visitors in the large common room at the front of the building.
Energy conservation - please turn of lights and air-conditioning when you leave the room.
Towels and linen - if you are staying more than a few nights, please let us know when you require fresh linen and towels, otherwise we assume you are happy to keep using the ones we have provided upon your arrival.
Damage to Property - Please take care of the guesthouse furniture and property. You will be charged for any damage to the guesthouse's property caused by you or your guests.
Management's Rights - It is agreed that the guest will conduct him/herself in a respectable manner and will not cause any nuisance or annoyance. The Management has the right to request any guest to vacate his/her room or other areas of the guesthouse without assigning any reason, and the guest shall be bound to vacate when requested to do so.
Government rules, regulations, and application of laws - Guests are required to abide by all applicable acts and laws and local Government rules and regulations.
Our staff - please treat our staff with respect and courtesy. They are here to help you and they work hard to make your stay as pleasant and fullfiling as possible.
Other guests - please treat other guests with tolerance and courtesy. Like you, they have the right to a quiet and safe environment and to enjoy their stay in our guesthouse.
Issues during your stay - please do not hesitate to contact our staff if you have any issue whatsoever. We may not be able to solve every problem you have but we will try our very best to help in any way we can. Our staff are available 24/7. If you cannot locate anyone in the common areas, please look for us in the office room right at the back of the premises.
